Find Clone with UCSD Genome Browswer
- Go to [UCSC Genome Browser]
- Click on Genome Browser
- Select Mouse (or whatever species you need)under genome
- Type gene name in the search box
- Select appropriate item from search results
- Adjust tracks as necessary, being sure to include BAC End Pairs under Mapping and Sequence Tracks
- Zoom out as necessary to find ends of BAC clones
- Print out and save BAC clone choices
Ordering BAC Clones
- Go to BACPAC website
- Can order clones through LSI purchasing (vendor is listed as BACPAC-chor)
